The world sees the laughter I carry,
But little does it know how much I have suffered,
The pains I silently resisted,
Are scars that I bear in my chest.

On the outside I show the course I am sailing,
On the inside, I face the storm here,
I have mastered the art of hiding within myself,
The pain that carries the weight I do not deny.

Resilience, strength that guides,
And at the same time the flame that persists,
Each wound proves what shines.

Amidst the darkness that is resisted,
Transforms into brightness what was once a cross,
And scars show what exists.
