I.

O sea of feelings, deep and wide,

That brings to heart unending woes,

It's longing for a love that died,

That left my soul in lonely throes.

II.

I long for days of old once more,

Of carefree youth and aimless glee,

Sweet memories time does obscure,

Yet leaves engraved inside of me.

III.

I yearn for lands I've never seen,

For dreams that in my heart reside,

It's longing for adventures keen,

Beyond the paths I've yet to stride.

IV.

Of valiant people, glories past,

I think with longing and with praise,

A time when destiny was cast

By courage, honor, noble ways.

V.

In night's silence, the soul does feel

An emptiness the world can't fill,

An existential longing real,

For mysteries life keeps hidden still.

VI.

Each verse I now compose and write

Reflects the feelings deep inside,

For in the songs I dream at night,

Dwell many longings I can't hide.
