Exploring the Rich Culture of Angola and Portugal

I.
Oh sea of feelings, vast and profound,
That brings to heart the pains unheeded,
It's longing for a love no longer found,
That left my soul alone, unneeded.
II.
I long for days of old once more,
Of carefree youth and laughter free,
Sweet memories that time can't store,
But leaves inscribed in the heart of me.
III.
I yearn for lands yet unexplored,
For dreams that in my being stay,
It's longing for joys I once adored,
Beyond the horizon, the untrodden way.
IV.
Of valiant folk and glories past,
I recall with longing and with praise,
A time when destiny was cast
By courage, nobleness, and brave displays.
V.
In night's silence, the soul does feel
A void the world could not fulfill,
It's latent longing, deep and real,
For mysteries life did not instill.
VI.
Each verse I now compose and write
Reflects the feelings flooding me,
For in the fate I sing each night,
There dwell my diverse saudades free.
